PSI is seeking to hire a Senior Transportation Engineer with knowledge and experience in traffic engineering and design. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience performing traffic engineering tasks and hold a STEM degree. This position offers exposure to multiple disciplines within transportation engineering, including both design and analysis, and the opportunity to see projects develop from concept to final design.

Responsibilities:

• Produce transportation design plans, specifications, and estimate packages. Disciplines may include temporary traffic control, traffic signals, utilities, signing, pavement marking, roadways, and lighting networks.
• Perform traffic engineering studies, analysis, and modeling.
• Utilize available resources, standards, and reference materials to deliver high-quality design outputs.

Essential Qualifications:

• B.S. Degree in Engineering or related STEM field
• 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience
• Strong communication skills
• Ability and desire to work professionally within a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• P.E. License
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD, Synchro, and/or Vissim
• M.S. Degree in Civil Engineering
