Job summary

Meadow Lakes in Mooresville, IN is seeking a dependable Resident Transportation Driver for the day shift to provide safe transport for residents to medical appointments, outings, and activities. The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, typically 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with hours possibly fluctuating based on resident needs.

You will assist residents on/off the bus, operate wheelchair ramps, and coordinate with the Bethany Village team.

Qualifications

Must be at least 25 years old.
High school diploma/GED, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, activities, and other community destinations.
Assist residents safely on and off the bus, including residents who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
Safely operate wheelchair ramps, lifts, tie-downs, and other transportation equipment.
Coordinate resident drop-offs and pick-ups with the Bethany Village team.
Keep the bus clean, fueled, organized, and ready for transportation.
Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or repair needs.
Assist the Activities team with resident outings, events, and activities as needed.
Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive experience for residents while traveling.
