Job summary

American Senior Communities at Meadow Lakes in Indiana is seeking a dedicated Resident Transportation Driver for a full-time day shift, typically 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., Monday–Friday with occasional schedule adjustments for resident appointments.

You will transport residents to appointments and outings, assist boarding, operate mobility equipment, coordinate with the Bethany Village team, keep vehicles clean and safe, and support activities.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Current driver's license in good standing.
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to medical appointments, outings, activities and other destinations.
• Assist residents on/off the bus, including those with wheelchairs or mobility devices.
• Operate wheelchair ramps, lifts, tie-downs and related equipment safely.
• Coordinate drops/ pickups with the Bethany Village team.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, organized and ready for transportation.
• Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs.
• Assist Activities team with outings and events as needed.
• Provide a friendly, respectful and supportive travel experience for residents.
