Job summary

American Senior Communities is seeking a dependable Resident Transportation Driver for the Zionsville Meadows location in Indiana. The role features a Monday–Friday day shift, typically 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with responsibilities including safet y transportation for residents to medical appointments, outings, and activities.

You will assist residents with boarding, operate mobility equipment, and collaborate with the Bethany Village team to coordinate drop-offs and pickups.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25 years of age.
• Current drivers license in good standing.
• High school diploma/GED, related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, outings, activities, and other community destinations.
• Assist residents safely on and off the bus, including residents who use wheelchairs or other mobility devices.
• Safely operate wheelchair ramps, lifts, tie-downs, and other transportation equipment.
• Coordinate resident drop-offs and pick-ups with the Bethany Village team.
• Keep the bus clean, fueled, organized, and ready for transportation.
• Complete routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or repair needs.
• Assist the Activities team with resident outings, events, and activities as needed.
• Provide a friendly, respectful, and supportive experience for residents while traveling.

Education

High school diploma/GED

CPR/First Aid certification (preferred)
