Job summary

DO & CO group in New York seeks a hands-on Transportation Manager to lead end-to-end transportation and dispatch operations across our airline catering unit. You will drive on-time performance and coordinate with dispatch, kitchen production, ramp teams, and airline partners.

This role requires a strong on-floor leadership presence across shifts, including nights and weekends, with the ability to troubleshoot delays, manage load coordination, and ensure safe loading/unloading of catering assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in transportation or aviation operations.
• Experience leading dispatch and frontline teams in high-pressure environments.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, dispatch logistics, ramp and airport operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transportation and dispatch across NY flight schedule.
• Drive on-time performance while meeting airline service SLAs.
• Oversee dispatch planning, routing, and load coordination for flight coverage.
• Coordinate with dispatch, kitchen production, ramp teams, and airline partners.
• Provide hands-on leadership on the floor and ramp; not desk-based.
• Manage catering operations including uplifts and last-minute changes.
• Troubleshoot delays, equipment issues, and staffing gaps in real time.
• Ensure safe loading/unloading of catering trucks and aircraft.
• Monitor OTP, dispatch accuracy, and service reliability; drive improvements.
