Job summary

DO & CO AG in Boston is seeking a Dispatcher Lead to coordinate transportation between the main production facility, third-party vendors, and the airport while ensuring on-time dispatch of products and flights. The role requires passing airport security clearance and liaising with airline clients and airport authorities.

Responsibilities:

• All airport-related positions require applicants to successfully complete the mandatory airport security clearance process for their assigned location. This includes meeting all TSA and U.S. Customs requirements, as outlined in 49 CFR
• 1542.209, and obtaining the appropriate airport-issued identification badge (e.g., SIDA, AOA, or equivalent), in accordance with local airport authority regulations.
• Coordinate transportation activities between our main production facility, third party vendors and the Airport. Manage on time delivery of products, goods and services. Plan, forecast, schedule and communicate transportation activities and Monitor all aircraft arrival/departure timings and other operational updates
• Supervise, motivate, and assist a large team of drivers and driver helpers (including schedules and documentation). Comply with all applicable rules/regulations. Receive important incoming calls/information from airline clients and the airport and communicate it to respective departments. Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook. Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team

• Minimum of 1 years of work experience in the similar role.
• Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
