CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Designer to join our Highway & Rail Team.

You will lead the design and delivery of transportation infrastructure projects, from roadway and interchange improvements to rail corridor upgrades, helping to improve safety and mobility. The role requires an Associate's Degree in engineering and at least 7 years of document production experience, with proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Engineering or related field required.
• Minimum 7 years' experience in document production within the engineering discipline required.
• NHDOT experience preferred.
• Proficiency in MicroStation and OpenRoads; Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Lead the preparation and development of contract and construction drawings for highway and rail projects using MicroStation/OpenRoads.
• Mentor junior and mid-level designers, ensuring quality and consistency across project deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to support project requirements, schedules, and budgets.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, material costs, and construction estimates.
• Prepare project 'As-Builts' documentation and support field assignments related to transportation infrastructure projects.
