Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Wichita Falls District is seeking Transportation Specialist III or IV to lead design efforts on roadway construction projects. You will oversee design work, coordinate plan packages, and work with consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with standards.

The role requires at least 5 years of relevant transportation design and operations experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• 5 years transportation design, construction, traffic operations, maintenance, bridge inspection experience.

Responsabilités

• Oversee design work among TxDOT entities, consultants and contractors.
• Coordinate compilation of complete plan packages for submission to the responsible engineer or architect for review and signature.
• Develop site layouts utilizing engineering workstations and software.
• Oversee permit operations.
• Perform data collection, evaluations, analyses, studies, inspections, forecasts, assessments, and/or plan development.
