Job summary

Infrastructure Consulting & Engineering, LLC (ICE) in Houston, TX seeks an experienced transportation design and design manager to lead roadway/bridge design projects from the Houston office. You will manage projects, develop and maintain schedules and budgets, and foster owner and contractor relationships on transportation assignments.

Qualifications

10–15 years of design and design management experience on transportation projects (PS&E).
Texas Licensed professional engineer, or eligible for licensure within 6 months.
Experience with MicroStation; GIS preferred; OpenRoads - DU experience a plus.
TxDOT pre-certification in Roadway Design, Drainage Design, Structures; others a plus.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite; good communication skills and team orientation.

Responsibilities

Manage multiple ongoing transportation design projects.
Financial performance & quality of work for all assigned projects.
Prepare monthly client invoices.
Assure standardized project setup and CAD/manual adherence.
Review contract drawings for design correctness and constructability.
