Job summary

Cordoba Corporation in Seattle seeks a Senior Cost Estimator to support major transportation programs in the Pacific Northwest. You will develop and review estimates from planning through closeout, evaluating labor, materials, and market conditions to support budgeting and procurement.

Join a team collaborating with PMs, engineers, schedulers, and clients to deliver defensible cost information, risk analysis, and contingency planning for large-scale transit projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of progressively responsible construction cost estimating experience on major capital projects.
• Experience estimating large, complex civil, transportation, transit, or public infrastructure projects.
• Experience developing conceptual to detailed estimates and BOE/ICE documentation.
• Strong knowledge of labor/material pricing, escalation, contingency, and market conditions.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contract requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop conceptual, parametric, preliminary, and detailed estimates for major projects.
• Prepare 30%, 60%, 90%, and 100% design phase estimates and BOE documentation.
• Prepare Independent Cost Estimates and engineer's estimates.
• Review and reconcile estimates with project budgets and schedules.
• Lead estimate validation workshops and advise on cost risk.
