Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking Transportation Construction Inspection professionals to join our Central PA Team. The successful candidate will supervise project inspection activities, ensure contractor compliance with plans and specifications, and coordinate field staff across project phases.

Required are a high school diploma and 8+ years of inspection experience, NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction, NECEPT-Bituminous and Concrete Field Technician, and ACI

Qualifications

• Strong computer proficiency.
• NICET Level 2 or higher in Transportation/Highway Construction.
• NECEPT-Bituminous and Concrete Field Technician.
• ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician.
• Active driver’s license and MV screening required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise project inspection activities to ensure contractor compliance of plans, contract documents, specifications and standards.
• Assign, schedule and maintain subordinate inspection staff throughout all phases of the project.
• Review and maintain all pertinent project documentation detailing construction progress, environmental permitting conditions, and safety compliance.
• Prepare, review and submit project inspection reports, work authorizations, and estimates.
• Attend meetings and assist client with change orders and progress updates.
• Interact with public agencies, contractors, vendors, and other parties to respond to inquiries.
