Job summary

Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson is seeking Transportation Construction Inspection professionals to join our Central PA team. The candidate will apply standard inspection procedures to ongoing activities during and after construction for structural quality, safety, and conformance to plans, specifications and codes.

Required: 1–4 years of construction inspection experience and a high school diploma or equivalent; preferred: Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of Construction Inspection experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Review plans, site layouts, specifications and methods for compliance with laws and safety regulations
• Perform routine tests on concrete, soils and other materials
• Measure dimensions and verify level, alignment and elevation of structures, fixtures, grades and pavements
• Gather and maintain record documents
• Make field notes and computations
• Pass JMT's Motor Vehicle screening
