Job summary

Jacobs in Oregon seeks a Senior Construction Inspector - Transportation based with offices in Bend, Portland, or Corvallis to support roads, rapid transit, and the Oregon ADA ramp program. You will work with contractors to ensure quality compliance, review plans and specs, assist in turnover packages, and provide on-site monitoring and inspection of materials.

Travel across Oregon is expected per diem during the construction season, with office or home-office in the off-season.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of experience in DOT construction.
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, plans, specs and safety requirements.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving history.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality compliance on construction projects and supervise contractor work.
• Review plans and specifications and support turnover package requirements.
• Provide on-site monitoring and inspection of material receipt and installation.
• Collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to drive safe, compliant execution.
