Job summary

Jacobs in Oregon is seeking a Senior Construction Inspector - Transportation to support projects across Bend, Portland, or Corvallis. You will ensure quality compliance on roads, rapid transit, and the Oregon ADA ramp program, reviewing plans, materials, and final turnovers with contractors and subcontractors.

This role requires 7+ years in the DOT construction field, strong communication, and willingness to travel throughout Oregon with per diem.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in the DOT construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction including materials, methods, plans and specs; safety requirements.
• Willingness to work day and/or flexible schedules including weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect construction work on roads and transit projects to ensure quality and compliance.
• Review plans and specifications and assist in Turn Over Package requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors and subcontractors on-site to monitor progress and material installation.
