Job summary

ATCS, PLC in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor (TCIS) to lead inspections on highway, bridge, and environmental projects. The position requires reading contract docs, supervising crews, and delivering daily reports to the Project Engineer.

Travel to job sites and sites in surrounding areas is expected. The role offers a competitive hourly wage, potential overtime and a 2% annual bonus, plus comprehensive benefits and a 401K with matching.

Qualifications

• PennDOT Transportation Construction Inspector Supervisor 1 criteria
• Knowledge of PennDOT Road & Bridges specs and standards
• Math skills including algebra, geometry and trigonometry
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Ability to travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Valid driver's license)
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Proficient in Site Manager or other PM software

Responsibilities

• Serve as Lead Inspector on transportation construction inspections (Highway, Bridges, Environmental, Traffic, Facilities)
• Write daily progress reports
• Oversee contractor work to ensure contract compliance and safe practices
• Document materials, labor, safety, estimates, work orders and adjustments
• Report on-site activities and daily progress to the Project Engineer with pay quantity calculations
