Job summary

STV in Pennsylvania is seeking Construction Inspection Managers for highway and bridge construction projects in the Transportation group. Roles are based from Douglassville with field work across Lehigh Valley, Northeastern PA and Philadelphia regions.

Strong NICET/PE credentials and broad technical certifications are highly valued. Applicants should have 8–10+ years of highway/bridge inspection experience, university degrees or certifications in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, and

Qualifications

8-10+ years of highway/bridge construction inspection experience, with 5-10 years in supervisory/management roles; NICET IV preferred.
AS or BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is preferred; PE license considered in lieu of NICET.
Strong certifications in ACI, PennDOT/NECEPT, Stormwater, OSHA safety and related areas may be required or desired.

Responsibilities

Direct and mentor Construction Inspection staff on highway/bridge projects.
Ensure compliance with PennDOT, PA Turnpike standards and project specs.
Prepare and review inspection reports, quantity calculations, and documentation.
Maintain site presence and coordinate with clients, CM teams, and contractors to prevent issues.
Support safety, environmental and permit compliance across field operations.
