Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking a Transportation Construction Inspection Manager in Pennsylvania. The role focuses on highway and bridge construction inspections for PennDOT and PA Turnpike projects, with field work across Eastern and Central PA.

The candidate should have 8–10+ years of highway/bridge inspection experience, NICET IV certification preferred, and an engineering degree. PE license may substitute NICET; strong documentation and safety expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of highway and/or bridge construction inspection experience.
• 5–10 years in project supervisory/management roles preferred.
• NICET Level IV in Highway Construction preferred.
• AS or BS in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Active PE license may be considered in lieu of NICET.

Responsibilities

• Direct the activities of Construction Inspection staff and mentor project staff.
• Review contractor procedures and materials for conformance with plans.
• Prepare and edit inspection reports with quantities and costs.
• Maintain a physical presence on site to resolve issues quickly.
• Assist in documentation, payments, and close-out of projects.
