Job summary

New York City Economic Development Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Transportation & Citywide Projects in New York, NY. You will manage stakeholder engagement across major transportation initiatives and coordinate with City Council staff and multiple agencies to advance policy and project objectives.

You will develop comprehensive outreach plans, track commitments, and prepare materials for diverse audiences, including elected officials, internal staff, and the public

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related fields preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience with elected officials or public agencies.
• Collaborative approach and interdisciplinary teamwork.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in transportation, project financing, and/or land use policy.
• Ability to travel within NYC and attend meetings.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Develop outreach and engagement strategies for citywide transportation projects.
• Coordinate with City Council staff and NYC agencies.
• Lead stakeholder engagement and public hearings.
• Support transportation-related grant applications and administration.
• Coordinate with DOT and manage public approvals across the portfolio.
