The State of West Virginia, through the Division of Highways, seeks a financial and technical analyst at District Eight Headquarters in Randolph County (Elkins). The role focuses on researching, analyzing, and projecting financial trends for highway maintenance, and aids in expenditure schedules, budget narratives, and data-driven cost projections.

Qualified candidates have a Bachelor's degree and four years of related experience, with substitutions allowed per policy.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree required. Four (4) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in the research, analysis, planning, bidding, or administration of highway construction and maintenance projects or managing transit grant programs may substitute for the required training/education.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced level technical and financial work researching, analyzing, and projecting financial trends for highway maintenance.
• Assist in the preparation and review of expenditure schedules, budget narratives, and work accomplishment data.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and modeling for budget maintenance, change requests, projections, and cost trends.
• Apply procedures and guidelines independently; tackle varied and potentially unrelated methods and processes.

Educación

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
