Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts or Science is required.
• Master of Arts or Science is required.
• 2+ years OPO or transplant hospital experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate deceased donor transplant organ offers – heart, lung, kidney, liver, pancreas and VCA.
• Present suitable organ offers to the procurement team for recipient matching of waitlisted patients.
• Assist with clinical documentation and interdisciplinary handoffs per OPTN requirements; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead and support on-boarded Procurement Coordinator I/II; act as liaison to supervisor and transplant teams.
• Maintain 24/7 coverage for organ offers and coordinate with Gift of Life Donor Program, UNOS and transplant surgeons.
