Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN seeks a Procurement Transplant RN Coordinator to manage donor organ offers and pre-transplant activities. You will work with transplant physicians and teams to ensure proper organ allocation, while interpreting complex listing data and coordinating transport for Mayo Clinic patients.

Requires RN licensure, 3+ years of RN experience in ICU/ED/procurement, and strong organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate nursing program.
• Minimum of three years of RN experience; ICU/PCU/ED RN or procurement/transplant experience within last 2 years.
• Two years transplant or procurement coordinator experience strongly preferred; CCU/OR experience preferred.
• CPTC or CCTC certification preferred; strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Current RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all aspects of solid organ procurement for Mayo Clinic Transplant Teams.
• Collaborate with transplant physicians and teams to plan organ offers and patient disposition.
• Interpret listing data, blood type, HLA, donor antibodies, and UNOS status for transplant decisions.
• Coordinate donor organ offers, including transportation arrangements for Mayo Clinic facilities.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and participate in meetings, on-call duties, and documentation.
