Job summary

SGS Consulting is seeking a capable Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and OSHA safety standards. The role includes stopping work for safety issues, maintaining quality, and conducting regular inspections with hold points.

You will interface with project managers, engineers, and contractors to drive project progress, prepare comprehensive daily reports, and manage on-site documentation and communications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience supervising construction activities and crews.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and site documentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities ensuring compliance with plans, specs and safety standards.
• Stop work if safety violations are observed and enforce safety procedures.
• Verify work meets quality standards and specifications; conduct inspections and establish hold points.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and contractors for smooth execution.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports detailing progress and conditions; attach job brief and photos.
