Job summary

Mesa Associates, Inc is seeking a Principal Transmission Structural Engineer to lead analyses, design, and foundation work for transmission systems. You will guide senior engineers, enforce QA/QC, and ensure safety across multi-state projects.

You will work with diverse materials, historic and modern, and utilize advanced software to deliver robust structural packages while mentoring staff and engaging clients.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil/structural degree and SE licensure are required.
• Expertise in transmission poles, towers, and foundations essential.
• Experience with historic and modern materials and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design of poles, towers, and foundations.
• Mentor engineers and ensure QA/QC across projects.
• Present solutions to clients and manage scope and budget.
