Job summary

HDR Engineering is seeking a Transmission Project Manager/Team Lead in Billings, MT to lead high‑voltage transmission projects. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and team performance while coordinating with clients and leadership to grow transmission opportunities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Minimum 7 years of related experience with at least 2 years of project management.
Ability to work with different design teams and communicate effectively.
Active participant in HDR's employee-owned culture is required.

Responsibilities

Manage transmission projects through the full lifecycle from initiation to closeout.
Direct client management, project planning, scheduling and budgeting.
Coordinate with marketing and leadership for business development.
Build and supervise a local transmission team and ensure quality.
Oversee non-engineering tasks such as public involvement and permitting.
