Job summary

KCI Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Energy Transmission Project Engineer in Dallas, TX to lead and coordinate electric transmission projects from planning through construction.

You will work with the Project Manager and multidisciplinary teams to deliver the scope within schedule, budget, and quality requirements. Responsibilities include technical leadership, design calculations, plan and profile drawings, and coordination with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (AEC Industry).
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• P.E. license preferred or relevant professional credentials.
• Strong knowledge of transmission planning, codes, and utility criteria.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, coordinate and direct transmission projects with PM and teams.
• Prepare deliverables: calculations, designs, drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Supervise project staff and coordinate with sub-consultants and clients.
• Conduct site visits, review field data, and ensure quality control and ISO compliance.
• Provide technical oversight and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Support proposals, negotiations, and client relationship development.
