Job summary

Eversource Energy seeks a Senior Program Manager, Transmission to lead budgeting, forecasting and KPI reporting for the regional department in Massachusetts. You will coordinate with Project Controls, Scheduling, and Accounting to ensure alignment with long-range plans and regulatory requirements.

The role requires strong analytical and communication skills, plus experience in utility project controls and risk management. Hybrid work arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, finance, business, statistics, math, or related field.
• 4–6 years of related experience.
• Experience with budgeting, long-range planning, and financial forecasting.
• FERC or New England state energy regulation knowledge desirable.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist with annual budgeting and long-range planning for CAPEX and PIS by month, quarter, and year.
• Develop and monitor KPIs to track project progress and financials against budgets.
• Maintain a system of record for project status, schedule, and financial performance.
• Provide regional portfolio status reports for monthly workplan meetings.
• Offer financial guidance for forecasting by project phase in line with year-end targets.
• Identify and manage department risks with monthly forecast updates and mitigation.
• Coordinate between project management and eBuilder for project records.
• Identify training needs and deliver training with SMEs.
• Mentor new employees on department practices and procedures.
• Meet with management to discuss forecast variances and action items.
