Job summary

Enercon Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior or Principal Transmission Planning Engineer to join our Power Delivery team, blending technical depth with leadership in power system studies and interconnection projects.

Based in Tampa, Lake Mary, Kennesaw, Palm Beach Gardens, or remote in the US, you will lead interconnection studies, perform load-flow and contingency analyses, and collaborate with ISO/RTO stakeholders. Strong communication and client relations are essential to success.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related with 6+ years of experience in Transmission planning.
Experience with ISO transmission systems, processes and policies.
Experience with generator interconnection process and implementation.
Strong client relationships skills and experience within the Transmission Planning industry.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
EIT with ability to obtain PE through exam.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Proven experience providing leadership for team members.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of engineers through interconnection studies and power system modeling.
Provide training and technical leadership to engineers.
Perform power system studies including load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and contingency analyses.
Engage with ISO/RTO stakeholders and represent company interests in regulatory forums.
Identify and resolve problems and perform other duties as required.
