Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering; 6+ years in transmission planning.
• Experience with PSLF, TARA, Gridview, PowerWorld, PSSE or PROMOD; PSCAD experience required.
• Experience with ISO transmission systems, processes and policies.
• Strong client relationships skills; leadership for team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers through interconnection studies and design criteria.
• Engage clients to identify reliability and economic improvements in transmission.
• Perform power system modeling: load flow, short circuit, stability, N-1 studies.
• Contribute to ISO/RTO stakeholder forums and NERC committees.
• Identify problems and deliver solutions for transmission planning challenges.
