Job summary

SEnergy seeks a detail-oriented, self-starting engineer with proven success in system planning for electrical transmission lines. The successful candidate will have 5 or more years of experience in Electrical Engineering in transmission for the power industry.

Hybrid work is available, based near the San Antonio or Houston offices. The role involves performing Electric System Planning studies, reviewing lines for upgrades, and conducting ERCOT-related analyses, with a focus on timely client

Qualifications

• Requires ABET‑accredited B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
• PE license required.
• 5–10 years of transmission experience in the energy industry.

Responsibilities

• Complete Electric System Planning studies, Construction Work Plans and Long-Range Plans based on transmission system analysis.
• Analyze transmission lines for conductor upgrades and communications cable additions.
• Conduct transmission connected generation studies in ERCOT.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and budgets.
