Job summary

Black & Veatch is hiring a Senior Overhead Transmission Line Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for 345kV rebuilds and greenfield projects. This hybrid role supports large-scale transmission scope work across multiple US locations, with opportunities to guide teams and engage with clients.

You will develop calculations, advise on equipment/materials, and ensure schedules and budgets are met while expanding knowledge in transmission engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• Minimum 11 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment checks (background, drug screen, MVR).
• Experience in overhead transmission line design preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide design guidance and standards compliance.
• Perform complex engineering calculations and data management.
• Lead or support multi-discipline project teams.
• Maintain client relations and support business development.
