Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Project Manager to lead high voltage transmission line projects within the Power & Energy Management Team. The role involves managing technical, schedule, quality, and financial aspects, developing client relationships, and marketing WSP’s Power Delivery services across the South and Southwest region.

The position is based in multiple offices (Overland Park, KS; Ann Arbor, MI; Appleton, WI; Madison, WI; Minneapolis, MN; Plover, WI; Saint Louis, MO)

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering or related field in Power & Energy.
12+ years PM experience in Power Delivery/Utility Industry.
5+ years leading engineering/construction teams on electrical utility projects.
Knowledge of project management processes and PM tools.
Proficiency with technical writing and office automation.

Responsibilities

Provide PM leadership for high voltage and EHV transmission line projects, managing budgets, forecasts, KPIs, risks, and contracts.
Develop strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress to clients.
Lead pursuit activities including go/no-go decisions, risk mitigation, and pricing reviews.
Participate in contract negotiations and client presentations.
Maintain QA/QC plans and project documentation (PMP, risk logs, communications plan).
Coordinate resources and subcontracting; ensure regular client communication and reporting.
