Job summary

Dashiell, a trusted unit of Quanta Services, seeks a Transmission Supervising Engineer to lead engineering teams in The Woodlands, TX. The role focuses on profitability, quality, and schedule across multiple transmission projects, with priority on high‑voltage systems and standards compliance.

The position requires a PE license and a minimum of 10 years in transmission design, plus proficient use of industry tools and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field from an accredited university.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE); if licensed in another state, license within one year of hire.
Minimum of 10 years in transmission and distribution with hands-on design experience in high-voltage lines.

Responsibilities

Oversee profitability, quality, and schedule performance of transmission engineering teams.
Supervise multiple project teams and coordinate with construction and procurement.
Assign projects based on requirements, schedule, and personnel availability.
Lead weekly project meetings and ensure QA/QC adherence.
Ensure compliance with NESC, GO 95, IEEE, ANSI, and ASTM standards.
