Job summary
Tetra Tech is seeking a Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power team. This role can be performed from anywhere in the United States, with a focus on supervising projects, preparing design deliverables, and collaborating with clients and vendors on transmission line projects.
Candidates should have a university degree in electrical or civil engineering, 4+ years of related experience, and a US PE license.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering required.
- 4+ years of related engineering experience.
- Knowledge of transmission lines operating at 115kV+.
- US PE license mandatory; consulting experience is a plus.
- Strong computer skills; proficient with AutoCAD, MS Office, and PLS software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise groups of engineers and professionals in the Power sector to execute projects.
- Prepare and review engineering deliverables for transmission lines.
- Prepare and review material lists, construction details, drawings, and diagrams.
- Oversee procurement activities and supplier technical submissions.
- Mentor team members and coordinate with discipline leads and clients.
