GFT Infrastructure, Inc. is seeking a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Business Group. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement with potential remote options for the right candidate, and requires strong expertise in transmission line design and related codes.

You will lead designs, develop specifications, and coordinate with clients and internal teams while mentoring junior staff. The position supports growth in power transmission and renewable energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Electrical, or Structural Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• 7+ years of experience in transmission line design.
• In-depth knowledge of NESC, IEEE, and NEC requirements.
• High proficiency in PLS-CADD.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee transmission line project designs as SME.
• Navigate design complexities and lead client/internal discussions.
• Provide strategic input to leadership ensuring project goals alignment.
• Travel to client sites for definition and execution phases.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and technicians.
