WSP USA seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role provides technical leadership for high‑voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV, with options to work remotely or from offices in the Northeast.
The successful candidate will have 10+ years in electrical transmission, a PE license, and strong knowledge of PLS‑CADD, NESC basics, and project leadership. WSP offers comprehensive benefits and a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant post-education experience in electrical transmission design.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or closely related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required (multi-state preferred).
- Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
- Experience with MS Office and safety policies.
Responsibilities
- Lead engineering of transmission projects up to 765kV.
- Develop project schedules and lead meetings with stakeholders.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams on progress.
- Support PMs with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Contribute to recruitment and resource forecasting.
