Job summary

East Point Energy is seeking a Senior Transmission & Interconnection Execution Engineer to lead interconnection execution across the full project lifecycle. You will serve as the SME, coordinating with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and EPC teams to ensure seamless integration of interconnection requirements.

You will guide design reviews, equipment selection, and risk management, while supporting pipeline growth and regulatory tracking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Masters in Electrical Power Systems preferred.
• 4+ years of interconnection execution experience across multiple RTOs/ISOs.
• Experience leading generator interconnection through full interconnection lifecycle in development and EPC environments.
• Experience with BESS IBR integration preferred.
• Experience with NERC compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection execution across the full project lifecycle from development through commissioning and operations.
• Serve as the interconnection SME coordinating with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and owners.
• Oversee compliance with NERC and utility standards and review interconnection-related engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with internal/external teams to mitigate transmission and interconnection risks.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise across design, engineering review, and procurement.
