Job summary

East Point Energy is seeking an Interconnection Execution Manager to lead interconnection execution across the full project lifecycle, from development through commissioning into operations. This role acts as SME for interconnection, coordinating with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and internal teams, and ensuring engineering deliverables meet standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering; Master's in Electrical Power Systems preferred.
• 4+ years of interconnection execution experience across multiple RTOs/ISOs (senior) or 6+ years (manager).
• Experience leading generator interconnection through full lifecycle in development and EPC environments.
• Experience with BESS IBR integration preferred.
• Experience with NERC compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support development and execution of interconnection strategy from application through IA.
• Lead execution of interconnection requirements as defined in IA.
• Serve as primary technical contact with utilities, ISOs/RTOs, and transmission owners.
• Oversee compliance and support EPC and Asset Management with NERC standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to mitigate risks.
• Provide electrical engineering expertise across all project phases (design/review).
• Support equipment selection, procurement strategy, and evaluation.
• Support pipeline growth and acquisitions through diligence.
• Monitor regulatory developments and grid upgrades to inform strategy.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
