Job summary
Exelon Corporation is seeking a Transmission Engineering professional to lead complex studies and mentor junior staff. You will develop asset strategies, assess condition data, and support reliability planning for overhead transmission systems.
You will collaborate with Transmission Area Maintenance Engineers and field teams to prioritize maintenance, validate analyses, and drive cost-effective solutions. Expect possible extended hours during storms or outages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience as stated.
- 4+ years of relevant experience with electrical/engineering systems.
- Ability to analyze and interpret electrical and mechanical systems.
- Knowledge of construction, operations or engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with asset condition, maintenance history and performance data.
Responsibilities
- Lead and perform complex engineering assignments on transmission projects.
- Mentor junior staff and collaborate with field personnel.
- Develop asset strategies and performance evaluations for transmission infrastructure.
- Coordinate with AMEs and contractors on maintenance programs and risk-informed planning.
- Prepare cost-benefit analyses and support storm response and system restoration.
