Job summary

Exelon is seeking a transmission engineering professional to lead complex studies, mentor junior staff, and support asset strategies for overhead transmission maintenance. You will work with AMEs to prioritize and execute maintenance programs while developing risk-informed plans and investment judgments.

The role requires a technical bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, plus experience with field test equipment and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to analyze electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of problem-solving approaches and engineering practices.
• Experience with field test equipment and regulatory standards.
• Relevant experience may include military or utility-related roles.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering assignments on critical projects with complex features.
• Support maintenance planning, risk assessment, and asset strategy.
