Job summary

You will oversee design, calculations, equipment specs, and construction monitoring, applying national and local standards (ANSI/IEEE, NESC) and company QA/QC practices. The role requires 8+ years in transmission engineering, degreed in civil/mechanical/structural engineering, and proficiency with Power Line

Qualifications

• Degreed Civil Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Structural Engineer, or equivalent.
• 8+ years' experience in the transmission engineering field; P.E. preferred.
• Proficiency with Power Line and Structure modeling tools (PLS-CADD, POLE, TOWER).
• Knowledge of industry codes and practices for electric utility work.
• Interpersonal and communication skills; leadership and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering work with design, budgeting, and scheduling across projects of varying size and complexity.
• Monitor construction to ensure conformance with plans, specifications, codes, and schedules.
• Perform complex studies and economic analyses; prepare feasibility reports and budget information.
• Train and guide junior staff; develop templates and standard processes.
