Job summary

TRC Power Delivery is seeking a Transmission Engineer to lead high-voltage design and delivery for transmission projects. You will handle lines from 115kV to 500kV, develop budgets, materials, and construction packages.

You will coordinate licensing, environmental, and real estate aspects, prepare schedules, and ensure safety and code compliance. A civil/structural/mechanical engineering degree with 5+ years of experience and PE eligibility is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in electrical transmission line design engineering.
• PE preferred; eligible for professional engineer certification.
• Proficiency with Power Line and Structure modeling software (PLSCADD, POLE, TOWER).
• Familiar with industry codes and standards (NESC, AISC, ASCE).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Design or assist in the design of transmission and distribution lines up to 500kV.
• Develop material lists, schedules, and construction packages.
• Coordinate environmental, licensing, and real estate considerations.
• Monitor construction and ensure plans, specs, and safety compliance.
