Job summary
Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer in Transmission Asset Planning’s Technical Studies team to lead complex transmission studies and support reliable operation of transmission facilities. The role requires expertise in voltage dynamic, stability, and transient analysis using PSSE, TARA, PSCAD, and PSLF.
The successful candidate will collaborate with Regional Transmission Planning and Protection teams, with a strong emphasis on meeting FERC/NERC standards and developing scalable power system
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering and PE license.
- 7+ years of professional engineering experience in transmission planning.
- Strong knowledge of FERC/NERC standards and related processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead transmission planning studies, dynamics and stability analyses.
- Provide guidance to internal departments on planning and policy issues.
- Perform complex studies such as RAS design and system impact analyses.
- Develop software solutions for power system analysis at scale.
- Mentor and train team members and peers.
