Job summary

TRC, a global environmental and engineering firm, seeks a Transmission Engineer for its Power Delivery group in Phoenix, AZ. You will design 115kV–500kV lines, develop material lists, and coordinate with licensing and environmental teams to ensure project success.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in engineering and 5+ years in transmission line design; a PE is preferred. Proficiency with PLS-CADD, POLE/TOWER, Excel, and related codes is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical transmission line design engineering.
• P.E. preferred, with ability to be certified as soon as eligible.
• Proficiency with Power Line and Structure modeling (PLSCADD, POLE, TOWER) and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Design or assist in the design of transmission and distribution line projects.
• Develop material lists and schedules to support project scope.
• Coordinate environmental licensing and real estate considerations with project teams.
• Monitor construction to ensure conformance with plans and specifications.
