Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) is seeking a transmission design engineer in Phoenix, AZ. You will perform conceptual, preliminary and final detailed design of new and upgraded transmission lines, with material procurement and construction support through energization.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree (B.S. or M.S.), strong communication, and teamwork abilities. Design work includes creating calculations, drawings, specifications, and staking material.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Strong design engineering skills and ability to work in a team.
• Good verbal and written communication and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conceptual, preliminary and final design of transmission lines.
• Material procurement and construction support through energization.
• Prepare design calculations, drawings, specifications and exhibits.
• Coordinate with project engineer and staff to monitor quality and scope.
