Lower Colorado River Authority is seeking a Crew Lead to coordinate maintenance and repair of electric transmission lines in Marble Falls. You’ll guide High Line Workers, ensure safety, and drive efficient project execution in the western district.

Based in Marble Falls, you will lead crews, provide technical support during installations and emergencies, and ensure timely completion of paperwork and reporting. A strong background in high-voltage maintenance and a valid Class A CDL are required.

Competenze

• Seven or more years of experience in electrical or mechanical equipment installation, maintenance or repair in a high-voltage environment or transmission line installation, maintenance or repair.
• Class A Texas commercial driver’s license
• Certifications in electrical systems or maintenance (stand out)

Mansioni

• Provide on-site leadership for all crew members performing duties for Transmission maintenance projects and perform job duties and responsibilities of a Journeyman.
• Advise and provide technical support, relative to project installations, system priorities, and operating decisions during normal and emergency situations for both internal and external resources.
• Plan and schedule routine and emergency servicing and restoration of equipment within assigned area. Ensure schedules and maintenance intervals are met.
• Coordinate major equipment setup and upkeep with other work groups or departments. Perform field service and sophisticated and detailed repairs, installation and maintenance of equipment in assigned area, which require extensive knowledge and experience.
• Perform final test, verifies accurate operation and releases equipment for service.
• Complete and turn in day-to-day documentation such as time tickets, mileage sheets, detailed daily reports and trouble tickets. Ensure that the work group finishes the required paperwork on a regular basis.
