Grid United LLC. is seeking a Senior Associate or Associate for Commercial Analytics to quantify reliability, resource adequacy, and economic value of interregional transmission projects.

You will drive probabilistic modeling, data pipelines, and stakeholder-facing analyses in a fast‑growing energy team. The role sits in Houston with strong collaboration across commercial, regulatory, and finance teams to support project financing, regulatory filings, and market studies.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in energy analytics or similar quantitative role.
• Experience with probabilistic resource adequacy modeling preferred.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for data assembly and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain probabilistic resource adequacy models to quantify reliability and capacity value.
• Perform production cost, congestion, and capacity expansion analyses for project valuation.
• Assemble and document model inputs with strong quality control.
• Develop analytics on capacity value, energy arbitrage, and congestion relief.
• Support regulatory strategy with quantitative analysis and technical comments.
• Collaborate with commercial, regulatory, and finance teams to align analyses with financing needs.
• Automate data pipelines and create clear internal/external reporting.
