Job summary

Grid United is seeking a Senior Commercial Associate to support the Commercial team through data-driven analysis and market expertise across transmission projects in North America. You will manage data room activities, perform market research, and develop tools to articulate project value to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years work experience with a strong track record of success.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, Science or related field.
• Develop data into clear analyses in a highly productive manner.
• Proactively learn market dynamics and fundamentals, project economics, and ask questions.
• Excellent organizational skills with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong writing skills, both technical and persuasive.
• Adaptability under deadline pressure and ambiguity.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, nonhierarchical organization.
• Willing to travel up to 20% of time.

Responsibilities

• Data Room Management: update data room quarterly, create auditable processes, identify gaps, lead responses to info requests.
• Power Market Analytics: research regulated/deregulated electricity markets, utility/ISO planning, synthesize insights into visuals and text.
• Customer Relationships: coordinate logistics for meetings, prep work and follow ups, support with modeling and slides.
• Contract Development: coordinate with legal to draft MOUs and NDAs.
