Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb in Seattle, WA is seeking a translational research scientist to drive biomarker strategies for cell therapy programs in autoimmune and inflammatory diseases.

You will collaborate with CROs and internal/external partners to design, execute, and interpret translational experiments, contributing to pharmacodynamic evaluation and mechanism of action in clinical studies. Experience in cell therapy and regulatory writing is valuable.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree – 8+ years of academic and / or industry experience.
  • Master’s Degree – 6+ years of academic and / or industry experience.
  • Ph.D. or equivalent advanced degree in the Life Sciences – 4+ years of academic and / or industry experience.
  • MS or PhD in immunology, molecular and cellular biology or relevant discipline preferred.
  • Experience developing and analyzing biomarkers for clinical trials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop end-to-end translational research strategies for cell therapy clinical trials.
  • Partner with biostatisticians and computational biologists to analyze data and communicate context and impact.
  • Develop MOA hypotheses identifying distinguishing characteristics of BMS cell therapy products.
  • Maintain understanding of biomarker assays (flow cytometry, transcriptomics, proteomics).
  • Independently manage internal projects in cell therapy drug development.
  • Contribute to regulatory submissions and regulatory documents when appropriate.
