Job summary

The Senior Scientist, Drug Product Analytical Science (ASAT) at Bristol Myers Squibb in Seattle leads analytical support for the Cell Therapy portfolio. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific discipline is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 8+ years of analytical experience in GMP regulated environments, cellular therapy, or gene therapy.
• Expertise in bioassay, flow cytometry, and molecular biology methods.
• Hands‑on lab experience with standard techniques and instrument operation.
• Experience with method lifecycle, transfer, validation, and instrument maintenance; strong regulatory familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide bioassay, flow cytometry and molecular biology expertise to support QC investigations.
• Design, plan and independently execute experiments; analyze data and contribute to reports.
• Lead method validation transfers and support regulatory submissions.
• Train and mentor colleagues on cell biology techniques.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to optimize lab methods and protocols.
• Support CAPA, deviations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare internal technical documents and participate in inspections as needed.
