Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics seeks a Translational PK/PD Scientific Associate Director to lead model-based decisions in drug discovery. You will act as an expert PK/PD modeler in cross-functional teams, integrating data to inform dose selection and target prioritization.

You will design experiments and modeling plans for forward/reverse translation, guide automated workflows, mentor junior colleagues, and communicate across departments to advance translational strategies.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: advanced degree in PK/PD or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Hands-on translational PKPD modeling using MATLAB, OSP Suite, Monolix, and R.
• Expertise in experimental design, data analysis, statistics, and interpretation.

Responsibilities

• Serve as expert PK/PD modeler in cross-functional teams to inform drug discovery decisions.
• Integrate in vitro and in vivo data to build PKPD, PBPK, QSP platforms for translation.
• Collaborate to design experimental studies and modeling plans for candidate optimization and translational strategy.
• Guide design of automated workflows implementing modeling platforms to inform human PK/PD and dose projections.
• Provide scientific/modeling guidance to junior colleagues.
• Demonstrate strong leadership and cross-department communication.
